MEDISISS makes it as simple and non-disruptive for your staff as possible. There are just 4 steps involved:

Working from the listing of SUDs we provide your facility, you can identify the devices that can be reprocessed.

An updated SUD list can easily be accessed from our web site (under the “Services” tab).

For sake of simplicity, the best rule of thumb is when in doubt, don’t throw it out. Treat the device like a reusable. MEDISISS evaluates each device and will not return the device unless it can be safely reprocessed.

Use the “Brush & Flush” step.

The process simply involves soaking your used devices in a recommended enzymatic solution, and then rinsing and drying them (more details on this step can be found under the "Services" tab on our web site; see “Program Overview”).

This will remove gross contaminants and maximize the total number of SUDs that you can have successfully reprocessed.

Place the devices in the MEDISISS bin located in your center.

Note that each bin is already pre-labeled with a FedEx shipping labeled addressed to MEDISISS.

At the end of every month or when the MEDISISS bin is full, snap the lid closed (for extra security, we suggest using the plastic ties we tape to the lid), call Fed EX and they’ll pick it up at no charge to the center.

We cover the costs of shipping your devices to our facility.

OnDemand: Our unique on-line customer support system makes customers’ lives easy when it comes to tracking devices and developing operational and financial reports. We will also train your employees who’ll work with the system. 

Email Alerts: We send you two email notifications at different stages of your order:

  • One that identifies the items you’ve sent to us with a target return ship date
  • Another with the official packing list that includes:

    -Full listing of devices being shipped back to your facility
    -Reclamation rates (how many devices had to be rejected)
    -Projected shipping dates (with a FedEx tracking number)
    -Itemized pricing (in advance)

Device Recording: We take photographs of every device and assign each order a unique lot number

Our FedEx Ground Partnership Program: This arrangement includes integrated online software to help track shipment receipt & delivery confirmation
